Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Spark Buck Studio (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the AI Contact Android app on Google Play.
Data we do not collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or other account identifiers as an app login.
- We do not upload, sync, or access your contacts on our servers. Your address book stays on your device (and any cloud account you already use outside this app, such as a Google account on the phone).
- We do not sell your personal information.
Data processed on your device
AI Contact processes contacts and related metadata locally on your device to provide core features (search, favorites, groups, call and message shortcuts, notes, and similar functions). This processing happens on-device and is not sent to us as your contact list.
Permissions
- Contacts: Required for the app to show, search, and manage your address book, subject to Android permission prompts.
- Phone / call (optional): Used to place calls and show recent call context when you choose those features.
- SMS (optional): Used only to open or send messages when you tap a message action.
- Notifications (optional): Used only for optional features such as reminders to stay in touch, if you enable them.
- Internet: Used for ads, analytics/crash reporting, and related online services.
Crash reporting and analytics
AI Contact uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics to keep the app stable and improve quality.
- Crashlytics may collect anonymous crash reports and diagnostic data (for example, device model, OS version, app version, and stack traces). This data is not used to identify you personally.
- Analytics may collect anonymous usage events (for example, app opens and feature usage) to understand how the app performs.
- Collection is always enabled while you use AI Contact. There is no in-app switch to turn it off. Data is processed by Google Firebase on their servers according to Google’s privacy policy.
Advertising
AI Contact may show ads through Google AdMob.
- In regions where required (for example, the EEA/UK and certain U.S. states), we use Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request your consent before personalized ads.
- Ad partners may collect device identifiers (such as Advertising ID), IP address, and interaction data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and measurement, according to your consent choices and applicable law.
- You can review or change ad privacy choices in Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy options when that option is available.
- See also Google’s advertising policies.
Meta (Facebook) measurement
On Google Play builds, AI Contact uses Meta App Events (Facebook SDK) to measure app installs, app opens, and in-app ad performance for Meta advertising campaigns.
- Before ad consent is obtained (where UMP applies), AI Contact does not enable Advertising ID collection for Meta and applies Meta’s Limited Data Use (LDU) where supported.
- After UMP indicates that ads may be requested, Advertising ID collection for Meta may be enabled so install and ad campaigns can optimize and report results.
- When personalized ads are not allowed, Advertising ID collection for Meta stays disabled and LDU remains applied.
- Meta processes this data under Meta’s privacy policy.
Firebase services
AI Contact may also use Firebase Remote Config to control non-personal app configuration (for example, feature flags and ad unit IDs). Remote Config does not provide us with your contacts or personal profile data.
Children’s privacy
AI Contact is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
- Revoke optional permissions in Android system settings or in-app Privacy settings.
- Manage ad consent via Ad privacy options when shown (this also limits Meta advertiser ID collection as described above).
- Uninstall the app to stop further collection by AI Contact and remove local app data from your device.
